PROTECTING OUR MARINE ECO-SYSTEMS!

There is so much we don’t know about the world’s oceans, but we do know that healthy marine species are important for maintaining balanced and thriving ocean ecosystems. In order to ensure their safety and health, we must invest our time and money in programs that work hard to preserve the marine life for our future generations.

The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network (TMMSN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing stranded, injured, or sick marine mammals. The organization is based in Florida, USA, and operates in partnership with local authorities, veterinarians, and other organizations to provide care and treatment for marine mammals in need. With up to six regions along the Texas coast, they provide a coordinated response to all marine mammal strandings along the Texas coastline. They also offer different educational programs to the public in hopes of creating awareness about the threats facing marine mammals on our coast.

Our team at O’Donohoe Agency is deeply inspired by TMMSN and wants to support them in their mission to protect and preserve the marine life.
