Our agency is on a mission to help meet the growing demand for food services in Galveston County due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. By supporting the remarkable work being done by Galveston County Food Bank, we are committed to raising awareness and funds for this very worthy cause. We can join forces to help local people in need and make sure they have access to nutritional food.
When a local family is going through a financial crisis or other obstacles, food is often the first necessity they seek. The Galveston County Food Bank’s mission is to provide easy access to nutritional food for the economically disadvantaged, underserved populations of Galveston County through a network of participating charitable organizations, schools, and food bank-managed programs focused on serving vulnerable populations. They also provide these individuals and families with resources beyond food, connecting them to other agencies and services that can assist with needs such as child care, job placement, family therapy, healthcare and other resources that can help get them back on their feet and on the path to recovery and/or self-sufficiency.
No one should go hungry during the COVID-19 pandemic. With school closures, job disruptions, and health risks, millions of Americans will turn to food banks for much-needed support. They can’t do it alone, and you can help.
So, we’re now advocating and directing monetary rewards to this very cause. When you recommend someone to us for a quote, we offer to donate $10 on your behalf. And yes, that is for EACH friend you send us. How many do you have? Do the math! Are you in?
